Differences emerge among Patidars ahead of Gujarat Polls

Differences have emerged among Patidar leaders ahead of Gujarat polls. Meanwhile the BJP and the Congress are campaigning full-fledgedly.While Hardik Patel, the famous face of the Patidars, has given a deadline to the Congress to take a stand on the reservation by 7th November, Patidar Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti (PASS), the organization Hardik had previously worked for, has forged an alliance with the BJP in the state. The leaders of PAAS have claimed the promises being made by the Congress are impossible and that they are hopeful of the BJP meeting their demands. The leaders further hit on Hardik accusing him of making the movement violent leading to the death of 14 members and said that the entire Patidar community is upset with his decision to support Congress. Hardik Patel had allegedly met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to have a discussion on the reservation. PASS members will be meeting BJP chief Amit Shah to have a dialog on their demands.
